As last poem for this series we were given a free poem day ... so anything goes. As Mothers'day is approaching I decided to end this month with a poem about....
The woman you call mother.
She is there when you feel blue
Loves you unconditionally too
Overlooks when you are mad
Forgives when you make her sad
Brags about your every deed
Tries to help when you're in need.
Her door is always open wide
Welcomes you to come inside.
In the world there'll be no other
Than the woman you call mother.
When arrives her eventide
Be there for her by her side,
Let regret not spoil your day
After she has passed away.

To Mothers everywhere - THANK YOU.
Have we met?
Lovely poem.

Speaking as a mother and grandmother, a lovely thought.
We should all call our moms right now, if we are so lucky.
