NaPoWRiMo April 4th: Inside Out

In our case, writing inside out (or outside in) means setting your physical or metaphorical inner bits out of doors, to be walked around and looked at from odd angles, as if they were monuments or mailboxes (as an example). Or it could be transforming your internal organs into flowers or letting a pack of four-year-old’s (human or otherwise) loose in your attic.

Write a poem today that illustrates your idea of what is inside-out.

What's inside?

What the heck is this?
Hm horse neighing
... Vacant stare
Now that I want to capture
The thoughts
Where are they?
Shirt waving in the wind
Pink and weather worn
Struggling to think
Hard disk churning in the background
I jump at a sound.
Friend logging in
Place is deserted.
Where is everyone?
They are sleeping.
'Tis night after all
Eyelids heavy
Eyes glazed
All is black
Empty
What's inside?
Nothing.
Now it's out.

LOL.
